Alan Dorfman, DDS
Dr. Dorfman grew up on Long Island and attended Emory University where he received his undergraduate degree in 1979 and then went on to Dental School where he graduated with his DDS degree in 1983. He returned to Long Island to practice with his father, Dr. Earl Dorfman, in their Westbury office which was established in 1958.
Dr. Dorfman was an attending dentist at the Nassau County Medical Center Dental Clinic for 20 years until his father retired from practicing dentistry and then he took over the family practice.
Dr. Dorfman is a long standing member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Nassau County Dental Society (NCDS). He has been the past president and treasurer of both the Long Island Dental Study Club and the Mid Island Study Club.
Interests
Dr. Dorfman is an active reader and Peletoner. When not practicing dentistry, he enjoys playing golf; oftentimes with his close friend, Dr. Jeffrey Zaffos.
