Mishel Eshaghianpour, DDS, MICOI (Dr. Mishel)

Dr. Mishel, also known as Dr. M, has been in New York for almost his entire life. He and his family immigrated to Brooklyn when he was 4 years old and then to Great Neck where he graduated high school. Dr. Mishel loves all that Long Island has to offer and is thrilled to have the opportunity to carry on Dr. Zaffos’ exceptional work serving Westbury for over 25 years. They have been working side by side since 2017 and Dr. Mishel has partnered with Dr. Zaffos to create JM Dental of Westbury!

• 2009 – Bachelor’s degree (BA) with Cum Laude, majoring in Economics and minoring in Chemistry from Queens College in Flushing, NY
• 2013 – Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine. While in dental school he served as Vice President and was recognized by American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), New York Academy of Dentistry and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
• 2014 – Completion of General Practice Residency (GPR) at Stony Brook University Hospital
• 2015 – Chief Resident and completion of General Practice Residency at the Bronx VA Medical Center (affiliated with Mount Sinai). This optional second year of residency is where Dr. Mishel refined his skills in the areas of implant dentistry and full mouth reconstruction.

Dr. Mishel is a Fellow and Master of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and a member of the Long Island Dental Study Club. He maintains affiliation with the Bronx VA Medical Center and provides care through the Homeless Veterans Dental Program where he enjoys assisting homeless Veterans through their rehabilitation journey.

When Dr. Mishel isn’t in the practice helping his patients, he spends time with his family and friends. He enjoys traveling and exploring new restaurants. He has explored several remote destinations including Thailand and South Africa. He loves nature and being outdoors. He used to ski regularly but now prefers hiking, music and podcasts. Dr. Mishel is a self-proclaimed tech enthusiast and loves all things tech! He appreciates the advancements in dentistry and how it has benefited his patients by providing faster, more accurate procedures in an always comfortable setting. He strives to keep up with the latest developments in dentistry and has completed countless hours of Continuing Education.
